Hatice Kaftans

A cintemani motif with hastate leaf medallions in dramatic tones of rose gold and copper set against a midnight black. The name Hatice means ‘trustworthy’ in Turkish and the design originates from an imperial kaftan woven in quilted and brocaded silk for Sultan Selim I (1512-1520).
