I'm always interested in Tudor portraits - we can sometimes see the link with Ottoman designs.  Elizabeth 1 was gifted an Ottoman slave girl who supposedly influenced her wardrobe especially with silk textiles.  Here's a painting of Katharine Parr - look closely at the geometric pattern and layout is of Ottoman origin.
